Program Graduates

To date Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar has graduated ten classes of students from high school (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010). Of these 276 students, 100 have graduated from college and 129 continue in their chosen college programs. The college students are excellent role models for our high school students, demonstrating the ability to succeed in programs at schools such as Johns Hopkins, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Union College, Rochester Institute of Technology and various campuses in the State University of New York system. Because of this success rate, college and university presidents frequently attend our events and interact directly with students and mentors.
